Hi there. Just a quick post to let you know that a visual novel I wrote is now available on the Moments: Choose Your Story app on Android and iOS devices. My visual novel is called “Of Lovers Past” and it’s a paranormal romance with murder mystery elements to it. The Moments app is free to download.
I’ve been in the games industry for over twelve years and have been writing professionally for around two years now, so it’s really exciting (and a little strange) for me to now be playing a game that I wrote.

Thank you. 🙂 I’m glad you like it so much. I hope you like the endings. I’ve got lots more ideas for more visual novels. Fingers crossed I can convince somebody to make them someday too.

Thanks – it was a lot of fun to write. 🙂 Hard to believe that it’s over now. Still, at least I have two other video game writing jobs to be getting on with; “Life in the Machine” & writing funny dialogue for a mathematics game for kids.

Thanks for your reply. I’m happy you like it. It’s only available in visual novel format on Moments. Hypothetically I’d be open to writing a novel based on this game and have ideas for numerous sequels…but I’m unable to write them as I don’t own the rights to it. The only sequel to it is “Of Lovers in Time” (also a visual novel available on Moments), which features a different protagonist. I’d planned on bringing the original protagonist back for the third entry if I was given the chance to write “Of Lovers Reborn”, along with a second protagonist. Right now though there’s no word of that happening.
I’ve been writing other visual novels for four other apps; “Amour: Love Stories”, “The Source” and two as yet unreleased apps. I’m also working on a roleplay game script for another games company, so I’ve got plenty to keep me busy. Still, I’d love to revisit the “Of Lovers” universe again in future if I was given the opportunity to do so…
